Kevin M. James Kevin alerted the world of his presence on the first day of Christmas in 1973. The small community of Norman, Oklahoma welcomed him with warm, loving thunderstorms. His time in Norman spawned a lifelong passion for big sky country coupled with a fascination for wind and tornadoes, and thus, chaos. His parents can attest to the latter. He is a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, his ancestors among those Native Americans removed from Mississippi to Indian Territory in the ordeal that later became known as the Trail of Tears. Hailing from a town with a rich history in college football he is also naturally an avid fan of the sport, both NCAA and NFL. Kevin moved to North Carolina in the mid eighties and now lives in Holly Springs with his beautiful fiancée, Brandy, and his beloved canine, Béla (as in Fleck). He holds a degree in Business Administration from North Carolina Wesleyan College and when not busy serving as creative minion for The Marketing Machine you can often find him at one of several local live music festivals. He also really enjoys photography, and while he occasionally dabbles in the more artistic side o' things he primarily favors concert photography. To check out some of his photography, please visit... Some of Kevin’s other hobbies include: laughing, learning, reading, the great outdoors, percussion, sustainability, traveling, and genealogy. Photo credit: Aaron Price |
